Evil VMware.
Lo, it will not.
By the way, in case you're wondering, VMware server 2 beta is definitely still beta. At least I was smart enough to make a backup.

Welcome to fallenknight.org Evil VMware.
Mental note - just because you think something is SLOW, do not.. DO NOT assume that upgrading to the latest and greatest BETA version of software will fix things.

I've had the ongoing battle in my own head about why I must find my own version of webapps, rather than just use someone else's. Then I read this article (eWeek) and find out that maybe I was on to something. More of my opinionating after the jump. No, it's not a word. Shaddup.
Games for Kids - do it
Funde Razor is coming.. it's a fundraiser for the Child's Play Charities organization. It's in Denver next Wednesday.. I may check it out.

Testing the system...
So, I ran across a site a few weeks back, called Get my FBI File. Their premise is that they will help you write letters via the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act to various agencies to get your records. Seemed like an interesting idea, and as their subtext reads: "because if you don't ask, you'll never know."
I decided to try it, both out of curiousity, and to see how long it'd actually take to get responses. I'll document it all here. Final Thriller
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within takes on Michael Jackson's Thriller (from Digg)
HA! I'm probably too much of a geek to not like this. |
