Ok, so this is my little hole in the web, where I give random updates on life, various techie bits I find, or just silly things in general. If you know me at all, you may or may not be interested. :) If there's something you'd like to add, please feel free, and let me know if there's anything you want to know!
And, if you're curious where the graphic came from, go check out ubergeek.tv. I'm hoping that giving them credit will keep the gods of plagerism off my back. :)

It would seem that my coworkers decided that I had moved out.

I have every intention of spending more time outside this year.. We live in a place that has awesome weather in the spring and fall, and invariably, I wind up inside 99.9% of the time because I'm lazy. However, there will have to be some concessions. As I sit outside, in the chair that I stole from the dining room, staring into a blinding sun, typing madly away at a paper for school on blisteringly hot keys on the laptop (why oh WHY are keyboards black???), I realize...
We need deck furniture. BADLY.
Alas, I feel that Sams Club will be getting a little bit richer at my wallet's demise.

Just a few comments:
- The wedding was awesome.
- Props to Marriott for the awesome view out our hotel room. Overlooked the causeway over Lake Ponchartrain. Got pics that we'll upload eventually.
- The weather was great. Which means it's gonna be a nightmare in July/August. Blech.
- Food - INSANELY good. Just make sure you don't overdo it. An hour before you get on the plane.
- Unless the price difference is THAT much, go ahead and bite the bullet and fly into New Orleans rather than flying into Baton Rouge and driving. The drive isn't THAT bad, but Baton Rouge is worse than New Orleans.
- New Orleans roads are still a disaster to navigate. When in doubt, TRUST THE GPS. Or, better yet, print out the damn map. And don't argue with your wife about where you're trying to go. It's not worth it.

So, we happened to go to Sam's today, and lo, they had amazingly NOT sold out of their lot of Wiis yet. And since I had just finished Bioshock (AWESOME game), I agreed that it wouldn't hurt. Not that I think Fiona will be playing Tennis any time soon, but hey, at least there's a game she can at least WATCH.

As we're watching the Lombardi Trophy being given out, Fiona leans over, slurring a little bit.
"Mommy.. I gotta tell you something..."
B: "Yes?"
F, still slurring: "I love you guys"
Me: "Have you been drinking?"
F: "Little bit."
No, she's not drunk, but it was certainly amusing. :)

When last we left Captain Weeniegeek, he had just found out that he had at least three formal events to go to this year... which meant a tux.
